Ph.D.は「普遍的な価値の継承と創造」をテーマに、基本的に自分たちで買い付けた商品をアトリエ（長野県東御市）で手直しなどをして、ショップ”Ph.D. stock hue”（長野市）で販売しています。テーマにあるように、これまで大切にされてきた商品の価値を損なうことなく磨き上げる確かな技術と深い知識で広く支持されています。
ただ販売するだけでなく、修理や、椅子やソファーの張り替えができるのも大きな特徴のひとつです。
oopsシリーズは、制作で出る端材の布のほか、不要になった生地や糸を創造的にアップサイクルしたものです。アイディアとユーモアで少しアートの側面を持たせたこの商品は、どれも一点ものの表情を持つこと、そして常に展開を広げている点で目が離せません。
この時代に”モノを持つこと”に一石を投じる家具屋の展示に触れてみてください。

Within the theme of “Inheritance and creation of universal value,” Ph.D. basically purchases items by themselves, repairs them at the atelier (Tomi, Nagano), and sells them at the store “Ph.D. stock hue” (Nagano City). They are known for excellent skills and widely knowledge to vintage furniture.
The oops series is a creative upcycling of discarded fabrics, threads, and scraps from production. The products, which have a bit of an artistic aspect with their ideas and humor, are a must-see because they are unique works, and they are constantly updating and developing items.
